In 1992 Linton Services purchased the Ottawa branch of Choquette CKS Inc. Continuing to use the name Choquette CKS, Ottawa (and Kingston) are owned and operated by Linton Services (1992) Inc.
Under new ownership, Choquette CKS Ottawa went through many changes and adjustments including a new operating system, a fresh vision and a conservative approach to management. This resulted in efficient servicing and the birth of a solid service company with huge growth potential in the Ottawa Valley and surrounding areas.
In 1995 Linton Services (1992) Inc. became a voting member and CFESA certified company (Commercial Food Equipment Service Association).
In 1998 the company moved to its present location at 2710 Lancaster Road. Over the next several years Linton Services (1992) Inc. underwent two expansions reflecting the company’s growth and stability.
Linton Services (1992) Inc. has concentrated its efforts on preserving and expanding manufacturer relationships. During these years of growth, the company focused on maintaining and gaining the trust of major manufacturers while winning authorization for service contracts.
Rigorous factory and in-house training has enabled Linton Services (1992) Inc. to be a leader in the technological evolution of the Commercial Kitchen Service industry.
After servicing and remotely developing Kingston and area since 1997; Linton Services (1992) Inc. officially expanded its territory to include the city of Kingston and surrounding areas with the opening of its Kingston office June 16, 2004.
December 15, 2007 brought a three alarm fire, calling 25 fire trucks and 90 fire fighters to the scene; destroying the Ottawa office. Full operations resumed within 24 hours of the fire. Linton Services (1992) Inc. operated, with full inventory, from a small unit adjacent to the affected units. Over the next several months the original offices were rebuilt and the grand reopening of the restored office was celebrated June of the same year. The speed and efficiency of recovery from the devastating fire reflects the dedication and cohesion of owner, operators and staff.
2013 was a major land mark for Choquette CKS Inc. as it celebrates its 100th anniversary.
After nine years of solid service, a rapidly growing customer base and the expansion of manufacturer representation as authorized service agents in the area; the Kingston branch of Linton Services (1992) Inc. moved to a new location in May 2013.
Collectively; Choquette CKS Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and Quebec City form the largest service agency in Eastern Canada. The four locations support each other in terms of inventory, technicians, training and expertise.
