It was in the 70s that the Quebec office, operated by the company CKS at the time, had set up shop for the first time.
In 1984, the company was acquired by Choquette, creating then Choquette CKS inc. In January 1993, a partnership between the Montreal and the Quebec branch allowed Steve Perron, who previously held the position of Branch Manager, Michel Simard and Ginette Lepage to become shareholders. This is how Gestion PSL was formed.
On June1st, 2002, Ginette Simard left the company to pursue new challenges. The remaining two shareholders, Michel Lepage and Steve Perron, decided to interest in the shareholding a technician that has been with the company for many years and who had the knowledge and technical and managerial skills to take over Ginette Simard’s position. Yves Gauthier therefore joined the management team.
In July 2007, the death of Steve Perron was a shock to his partners as well as managers and employees of all branches of Choquette-CKS. The same feeling was felt in the manufacturers team has well as other businesses.
Following this sad event, Michel and Yves remained the only two leaders of the Quebec branch.
Noting that either Michel’s or Yves’s children was interested in taking over the company, they decided in 2011 to propose to the Montreal branch to purchase their interests in Choquette CKS-Québec. Michel Lepage and Yves Gauthier are, to this day, still working respectively as Branch manager and Service manager.
They have more than 13 technicians and 12 office staff. They are on the cutting edge of technology which allows them to offer to their customers in the region of Quebec and the Maritimes a very high quality in service.
